All of the Monkeys Jumping On the Bed
Mine and Jay's room became the hit for a little while tonight. Lyssie came in first and the rest kind of just followed in after that. They had such a blast jumping on the bed.

Cosmo even got in on the fun. He was jumping up on the kids while they jumped on the bed.
Josh got immersed in a book for a while.
Cute little Lyssie. She was giving the big stuffed dog lots of loves.

Still So Small
Sometimes I think I forget how young and little my kids are. They always act so big and do such big kid things. They speak and communicate so well I just forget that they are still so little. I have found when I see them sleeping is when I really can remember how small they are. They are so innocent and peaceful and I love how comfy they always look. They are sweet and I love my babies though every day they are getting farther away from being babies.

Growing Growing
Our plants are continuing to grow and grow. I have to figure out a place to transplant them to before they get too big. They are looking good though.

These 2 pictures were taken on Monday. They were just starting to shoot up.
These next 3 I took today. They are growing fast and looking good. How exciting!

First Sign of Flowers
Ali's Red Brick Road
I did this a couple weeks ago but I just haven't blogged about it yet. My parents have been working on getting the front and back yards cleaned up and looking nicer. I wasn't sure what I could contribute in the front yard and then I got some crazy idea in my head. I thought I would make the little path of rocks look neater. I started moving things around and before I knew it the project got bigger than anticipated. I ended up clearing all the rocks in the area and then had empty space. My mom suggested using the bricks we had lying around in the back. So came Ali's red brick road. It's kind of nice to have and it is on it's way to looking better. It was quite a task though. Glad it's something I started in this weather rather than the summer. It's not a completed project yet but it will get there.
I cleared the rock all the way to the street and filled in with brick almost that far.
The finished brick. I still have to get the area around it done but all the brick is laid. Hopefully there will be some pictures of the completed yard very soon.
You can see my little helper there in the background. He did a lot of shoveling and raking. Thanks Noah!
This is the look of it in progress. The little dirt path was all rock like the area below still is.

A Day at the Park
I had a really great day with Zoey and Noah today. We took Daddy to work so we could have the car and do something. We went and picked up McDonalds for lunch and took it to Arthur Pack Park to eat. Zoey was good and ate her lunch before she played. Noah didn't seem to get the whole idea of eat and then play. He went straight to play. He came back every now and then for food. They were just so excited to play. It was an absolutely perfect, beautiful day. It wasn't too warm out at all and it was cloudy out. It was such a gorgeous day. We played for a good hour and a half and had a lot of fun. After, we went to Target to try and start getting some summer clothes bought. They each got a couple outfits and then I let them pick a treat out because they had been so good that day, especially at Target. We really did have a good time spending all day doing things together. I get too caught up in things at home sometimes so I am sure Zoey and Noah both really enjoyed having Mom's full attention. What an absolutely wonderful day we had!

My big boy climbing up the ladder on his own. I can't believe how big he is.
One of my all time favorite pictures. She opens her mouth and screams as she goes down. It's like it's a roller coaster.
I love that she is almost always willing to stop and pose for a picture for Mom. Her brother could learn a thing or two from her.
He looks like he is holding on for dear life. He's just going down very slowly on his tummy.
Just hangin out! Zoey thought she was so awesome holding on and then letting herself fall.
In great need of a drink in the middle of all that crazy play.
Pony riding swingin'!
I think she is just so pretty, even with ranch on her lips.

2nd Attempt at Planting Flowers
So Cosmo and Noah destroyed the first sunflowers we planted. Cosmo ate the dirt from Noah's and then Noah dumped Zoey's soil out. I was going to just forget about it but they were so excited about waiting to see the flowers grow. I bought some more sunflowers and also bought some daisies. We planted them and this time I put them in the front yard where neither Noah or the dog could get them. We are only a couple days in but the kids are super excited to check them every day and see if they have started growing yet. I sure hope something sprouts.
The yellow pots are daisies and the blue pots are the sunflowers.
