Our Big Handsome Boy

Twenty two months after Zoey was born we welcomed another member to the family. On August 9, 2006, after some insanely painful contractions but otherwise nice delivery, Noah Jay came into this world. He weighed in at a whopin 9 lbs 10 oz. He was such a big boy and so so adorable. We were so excited to have another baby and Zoey loved "her baby". She was very protective from the beginning and it was so sweet. He was the most cuddly snuggly baby and mommy couldn't seem to ever put him down. He was just so big and cuddly and I just loved him to pieces. I suffer for it now because he is a huge momma's boy, but all the baby cuddles were worth it. Noah has been the perfect addition to our little family. Though he may not be our last our family feels pretty complete right now. Noah is a bundle of love and laughter. We love him!

Our Tiny Princess

On October 5, five short months after Jay and I were married, we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. After being induced and going through a very easy labor and delivery, Zoey Paige came into this world. She weighed in at a tiny 6 lbs 9 oz and was the tiniest thing I had ever seen. She was precious though. It was such an amazing feeling to be a mom. Everything went without complication and she was healthy and perfect. We had our little girl and we were so happy. Though he may deny it I believe I saw a few tears in Jay's eyes when Zoey was born. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful little girl. She really has brought a lot of joy to our family.

Love And Marriage

After several months of dating a surprise came our way. Jay and I found out we were pregnant. Was that some serious drama taking place?! It certainly wasn't the way we planned for things to go but it was what it was. We knew we wanted to be together and be married so we went with it. It was kind of a whirlwind event. The wedding was small and simple, certainly not traditional. It was still one of the best days of my life. Probably the best at that point. On May 8, 2004 (one day shy of 1 year together) I married my best friend, the one person who made me feel like I was more than I ever thought I was. The man who built me up, loved me for me, and who never left doubt about how much I meant to him. No one ever made me feel the way he did. He was the one and still is. I will never forget the day we got married. It wasn't the wedding every girl dreams of from the time she's little, but it was the perfect day. I remember how happy I was that day and that a smile never left my face. I knew he was the one. I married my best friend and I couldn't be happier. It was the start of our life together and our family to come. I wouldn't take back a moment. I love you Jay!
This is a picture my niece Kylie drew in primary the Sunday after we were married. She was 3 at the time. She was so excited to have and Uncle Jay. It's just one of those things we treasure. It lives in our wedding album. It's just so dang cute!

Two People Fell In Love

I moved to Utah the summer of 2002. I searched everywhere for a job and finally settled at the Target in Orem. I loved my job and met a lot of fun people. That holiday season a cute, tall blonde guy got hired on. I noticed him every now and then but didn't really talk to him much. He finally put himself out there and invited me to his Cinco de Mayo party. We hung with a group of people from work and one day when I took him home from work he got my number and called for a date. We went on our first date on May 9, 2003 and we have been together since then. We had a lot of fun dating and hanging out with my sister and our friend George all the time. We knew we wanted to marry each other the second month of dating. We wanted to give it more time though. So we did and things went along and we fell more in love. I had the best time dating Jay and we always had so much fun. I had found the love of my life and it was one of the happiest times of my life.

It's About Time

I decided it was about time for this family to have a blog. I am always a little behind in things but I get there eventually. Hopefully one day it will be as cute and fancy as some of those out there. So give me a round of applause for finally coming into this decade.
