New Years Eve 2012

Traditional New Years spread for us. Cheese fondue followed later by chocolate fondue. We all pigged out so much this year though that we couldn't even ring in the new year with sparkling cider. We were just too full. The amazing thing about the night is that every single one of us lasted past midnight, even Aiden and Olivia. That was all a weird turn of events with late naps and stuff but whatever, it made for a great way to ring in the new year.
A little late night Skyping with Aunt Steph, Uncle Rick, and cousins Julee and Alexis.

Guess Who

One of my all time favorite childhood games. I am glad the kids have fun playing it. Thanks for the game Aunt Pam.
Aiden loves having a big boy car seat. Mommy loves it too, I was so tired of dealing with the infant seat.

New Bikes

The day after Christmas we all spent some time outside so the big kids could ride their new bikes. It was a beautiful day and it was nice to be out with the whole family.
Decided to finally try to teach Noah to ride without training wheels.
He did really well right away. I love this picture because you can see the complete pride on his face.
Trying to learn how to start.
This kid kills me how cute she is with her helmet on. When we bought it for her she wore it the whole time we were in Walmart.
Unfortunately things often end like this with Noah, in tears.
 Just love this boy!

Christmas 2012 (Aiden's First)

Wonderful as always. We all had a great time and all came away with some pretty great stuff. So thankful to be blessed enough to provide a good Christmas for my family. It was Aiden's first Christmas and I would say he was about as excited as an almost 1 year old could be considering he had no idea what was going on. He figured out the paper ripping pretty quick and pretty good. We had to rush through his gift opening though because he was ready for his morning nap. Very bittersweet to think it may be the last "first" Christmas we get to experience. It was an awesome Christmas though. Lots of family and lots of relaxing, couldn't ask for more.

Santa came!
Santa brought each kid a pee wee pillow pet.
The hot item ended up being the big boy carseat Santa brought Aiden.

Who needs gifts? I have paper!
 Classic. Love it.

The big boy car seat was love at first sight for this boy. Once you go forward you never go back . . . Aiden loves his forward facing seat.

Olivia's pile of gifts was just about as tall as her.
Grandma Doll took Zoey shopping one day and Zoey conned her into buying her this coat.

 Grandpa already needed a nap.
 Christmas is exhausting!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Kinney. Such fun dolly stuff.
Noah had been begging for the Skylander game for a few weeks. It was fun to see his reaction when he opened it.

Jay's blanket I made him. He loves it! Pirates on one side, dinosaurs on the other. Does it get any more awesome (or random) than that?!
Boxes are always one of the top rated gifts. Remind me why I spent any money on gifts.

Building the track for Noah's new train. Fun stuff!
The end. Lots of clean up to be done.
Aiden was in a phase of making this face whenever I was taking pictures.
Jenn and Mom making rolls for dinner.

Christmas day dinner. Pork ribs, beef ribs, rolls, jazzed up green beans and cheesy potatoes.
