Zoey Paige

A while back I posted some pictures of Noah. We had a lot of fun things happen since then so I never got pictures posted of Zoey. Every now and then I like to just snap a bunch of pictures of the kids. It always makes me a little sad because I really see how big my kids are getting. It's really fun though too because they are getting bigger and more fun. I love doing pictures with Zoey because she loves to come up with her own little poses. Some of them are silly but she has a good time. One day I will have a better camera and the pictures will hopefully be even better. I love taking pictures of my kids. They are just too dang cute!

A Cabin in the Mountains

A couple weekends ago we had the chance to stay in a cabin up on Mt. Lemmon. It was a cute little cabin not quite up as far as Summerhaven. It was a nice little place to stay. I think the best part definitely had to be the weather. The days were not uncomfortably hot and the evenings and nights were BEAUTIFUL. It was chilly and amazing at night. I loved it. It was a nice way to get away and spend time with family just chatting and playing games. It brought back memories from when we were little too. My grandparents had a cabin in New Mexico when we were little. Every summer all the grandkids got to take turns going up and staying a while with them. I don't remember it as well as my siblings do but I do have my few memories of it. It was a special treat and I always loved getting to be up there with Grammy and Pop. It was great to get to take Zoey and Noah to stay in a cabin for the weekend. I hope they have many more opportunities to do so. I know it is one of my favorite childhood memories and I hope they are able to make many similar memories. It was a great weekend, surrounded by family, enjoying the beautiful scenery and weather of Mt. Lemmon.

Noah's Birthday Party

The family came, the party was had, and Noah is now officially 3 years old. He loved his Star Wars decorations and cake and had fun playing with his cousins that came over. Noah got lots of fun presents, all of which he loves. He has played with all of them and has had a great time. Thank you to all the family who came to celebrate Noah's 3rd birthday. We had so much fun and we are so grateful to have all of you close by to be able to celebrate with. Noah had a great birthday. I can't believe he is 3 now. The time passes all to quickly. I look forward to this next year of his life and seeing how he grows and learns. We love you Noah!

Happy Number 3 Noah!

I really can't believe that today my little guy is 3 years old. I can so easily remember being in the hospital holding our adorable, big, cuddly little baby. The day Noah came into our family was most definitely 1 of 3 of the best days of my life so far. Noah has brought so much happiness to our family. Before he was born I couldn't imagine having another kid and being able to love one as much as we loved Zoey. The day Noah was born I loved him instantly and now I really couldn't imagine life without him. My favorite thing about Noah is he is one of the funniest kids I know. He makes us laugh every day and keep us laughing hysterically on a regular basis. I hope my little guy always knows how much I love him and how important a part of this family he is. We love you Noah. We hope your birthday is happy and that you have lots of fun.

Happy Birthday to the Best 3 Year Old in the World!

I know it isn't great quality but I took the video with the crappy recorder on our camera. I was tripped out by this couple performing. The act was maybe 10 minutes and the lady did these crazy quick dress changes like 10-15 times. I thought it was cool. Hope you can kind of see it.

This next one is just a short clip of the trapeze artists. I thought it was the coolest because the 2 girls did this crossover thing. You'll just have to watch it. It's pretty cool.

Vegas & Hoover Dam

We decided to leave Utah a day earlier than originally planned so we decided to stop in Las Vegas on the way home. We found a room at the Circus Circus hotel and casino for only $60 for both nights. It made me nervous that it was so cheap because I was afraid we would show up and it would be all trashy and gross. Much to my excitement and relief it was a decent room. It was clean and big and had a nice bathroom. It really was a steal. We got there in the late afternoon and then spent the rest of the night (until almost midnight) down in the casino area.

They hotel has a whole area that's like a carnival/arcade. We took the kids around and let them play games and win some prizes. I am probably silly because I would only let them play games that could win them cute stuffed animals. I hate some of the cheap ugly stuff they will give away as prizes. They did win some cute stuff and then our hungry selves sat down for a pizza dinner. We spent the whole night wandering and checking out the carnival area. The cool thing is they have a place set up for performances and they have some sort of circus performer doing stuff like every half hour. We watched a couple of those and they were pretty cool. Really, the trapeze artists performing in the belly of this hotel was really the coolest to me. We ended up back in the room totally tired and ready for bed.

The next day we did some wandering and drove the strip. Any of the pictures I've posted of hotels and stuff on the strip were all taken from the car. It was a little much to walk with the kids but it was still cool to just drive up it. We spent a couple hours at some outlet mall not too far from the hotel. Oh how I wish I could have had they money to get the way discounted Coach purse. Oh well! We still had fun window shopping. We didn't really do anything big while in Vegas but we had a good time. We made a REALLY quick stop at the Hoover Dam on the way home too. It was too hot and too busy to stop and walk around but we did snap a couple pictures. That counts right?! We at least got a picture of the kids with the dam behind it. That's enough for us.

We don't often take trips or do things like this just the four of us so it was really nice. I love getting to do fun, out of the ordinary things with my little family of four. I am grateful too that we have the opportunities we have to travel and do fun things as a family. I know I am blessed to have these chances to make memories with my family. All in all the Utah/Las Vegas trip was really great.
