We had a good storm a while back and the kids wanted to play out in the back in the rain. While they were out the thunder started. It wasn't too loud but we got one good loud, long clap of thunder and poor Zoey about died. The above picture was right after she had been crying. The thunder startled her so much she ran in the house and fell to the floor in tears. Poor thing, she really was terrified. She got over it though and they enjoyed a little more time outside.
Crazy Noah enjoyed every second of it. You wouldn't believe how soaked he got. I guess that is what happens though when you don't just play in the yard, you stand right where the rain is pouring of the roof. Silly boy!

It was a pretty big clap of thunder and all of us jumped. And we knew before the reaction happened that the kids would be reacting to it. Another reminder of how much all of us have to learn from day one.
