My girls

I love my girlies so much. Zoey is a great big sister and so very helpful. I am so lucky to have such beautiful little girls.

Love a Sleeping Baby

Zoey lost her first tooth on the top. She has now lost 3 on the bottom and the 1 on the top. She has gotten a dollar for each from the tooth fairy. My 5 year old has more cash than I do.
Having a conversation with Grandma.
Grandma is teaching Olivia how to fold her arms for the prayer. Ha Ha. Too cute.
Chilling with Grandpa while he sings her some of his famous songs.

3 Months Old

Miss Olivia turned 3 months on the 14th. I can't believe how fast those months have gone by. She is such a complete joy to our family and we are so grateful for her. We are having such fun watching her grow. Here are a few things about Olivia at 3 months:

- expert at smiling
- cooing more and more (so cute)
- loves sitting up, with help of course
- enjoys baths, just started kicking and splashing
- gets very irritated when people get too up in her face
- sleeps for 6 to 7 hours straight at night
- gets extremely fussy around too much chaos and noise
- loves her mommy and smiles more for her than anyone else
- adores her big sister
- very not cool with being messed with while she eats
- still likes to be swaddled every now and then
- loves her swing, we call it her "other mother"
- can burp like a big kid
- loves being outdoors
- almost growing out of 0 to 3 month clothes
- has found her hands and enjoys chewing on them
- her big brother is her biggest fan

I am sure I could go on for a while but I think those are some of the biggest things. If I think of more I suppose I will just have to add them later. It's been a great 3 months and we have had tons of fun with Olivia. We look forward to the months ahead watching her grow and seeing what she does next.

Sleepy Noah

Not too long ago Noah fell asleep sitting up on the couch. He is such the kid that goes and goes until he just passes out. He really will be talking to you one second and within less than a minute he will be asleep. Too cute a kid!
The close up shows that he has the remote. He has to make sure that even if asleep no one can be changing the channel on him. Funny little guy.

Just Some Pictures

All comfy cozy with Grandma Kinney.
Riding their bikes to the little park right behind our house.
Playing at the park.
I wish I could sleep in any position like babies do. (8 weeks old)
Look at her holding that paci just in case she needs to shove it back in.
It's very tiring being so darn cute.
She's so small on the big couch. Look at that grin!
Lovin from the siblings. The one below is a little blurry but I love it. Really captures the way my kiddos are.
Noah LOVES giving Olivia kisses. She gets tired of it but I think it is sweet that he likes her so much.

The Big 30

I can't believe I am so far behind with blogging. My wonderful hubby turned 30 on June 8. The Sunday we blessed Olivia we threw some candles in an ice cream sundae and everyone sang Happy Birthday to him. It's funny to me because a few days before that he had made a comment about how I better not be planning something on Sunday when everyone was around. I had not even thought to do it once but he gave me the idea so I made it happen. We really didn't make a big deal about it but he was so "thrilled" to have the attention on him for a few moments. I love you Jay! Just remember it was your idea.

For Jay's actual birthday I had to make a little bit more a big deal. He did turn 30 after all. After he went to bed the night before I decorated all around his computer. I shoved 30 balloons all in that little area and put up a happy birthday banner. I even got on his log in and changed his desktop background so it said Happy 30th Birthday. I hung some streamers in the doorway to our bedroom too so he had a little something to greet him first thing when he got up. We just spent the day hanging out and for dinner I made his requested homemade pizza. It was tasty. For birthday dessert I made better than sex cake. We enjoyed dinner and dessert and he opened his gifts. I hope it was a good birthday for him. I made the biggest deal about it that I was able to and I think we had a good time as a family.

I am so happy I got to spend your 30th birthday with you Jay. I look forward to celebrating many years of birthdays with you. I love you so very much. Hope you had a good one.

Noah loves helping blow out the candles.

Happy 30th Birthday one month later my love!

Olivia's Blessing

On June 6 we had the best last day in Tortolita ward. It was Olivia's blessing day and what a fabulous day it was. Jay's parents were able to be here and all of my family except Stephanie, Rick and the girls. My aunt and a cousin came down from Snowflake too and of course aunt Pam was there as well. It was so awesome to have all that family to share the day with. Jay blessed our beautiful little Olivia and as expected my eyes got a little wet. Of course it was hardest to hold back tears when Jay got a little choked up while giving the blessing. He isn't one to often get emotional in public so it is always very touching to me when he does. It was a beautiful blessing and I really think the spirit of the day was felt by all. It was really great too to have both grandfathers and my big brother standing in the circle.

I don't really know much else to say about the day but that it was wonderful. I am so grateful for my family. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so many people who love me and my husband and our children. I am so beyond grateful to have the wonderful husband I have. I am thankful that he is a worthy priesthood holder and has been able to bless all 3 of our children. I just can't imagine it having been nearly as special if it wouldn't have been him. I am so blessed to have this man in my life and I can't imagine walking the path of life without him. He truly is my best friend and I love him dearly. I am thankful for the way he takes care of and provides for our family. I am thankful for his willingness to live with a little less because he places so much importance on me being a stay at home mom. I am thankful for the great dad he is. He teaches our children a lot and is so much more patient with them than I am. I am thankful for the love and constant support he is to me. My life just wouldn't be the same without him.

I am so thankful to be a member of my church and for the testimony I have. The gospel helps me reach for good goals and helps motivate me to be a better person. It helps me look outside myself and see the world around and constantly remind myself how truly blessed I am. My morals and my standards and my beliefs help make me happy and make me who I am. I am so grateful for my beautiful children. I am grateful for my sweet Olivia and for her blessing day. I felt the spirit and the love of my Heavenly Father who has blessed me so abundantly by making me a mother. It was a beautiful day filled with love and family!
All the family that came to church. Thank you ALL for coming. It really meant a lot to have you there!
Mommy and Daddy with our sweet little Olivia. She has settled into our lives so easily. She was very much meant to be.
Olivia and her cousin Machella. Olivia was so good about being passed around and held by everyone that day. It made me happy.
9 of the 11 grandkids. If we would have been lucky enough to have Julee and Alexis around we would have had all the cousins together. It was great to have so many of them though. 9 out of 11 ain't to shabby.
The whole McKinlay family.

So very pretty in her white dress.
That really is one sweet, adorable, beautiful, precious little lady we have.
