Christmas Sunday Best

How totally gross is the snot?! I just couldn't help but post it.

Family Christmas Pics

Many may not know it but we really are just crazy people.Just a couple others I like. Can you tell how thrilled Olivia was to be taking pictures?

Look What I Can Do

Went in to get Olivia out of bed after a nap sometime in December and found this. That is one proud happy baby. She not only was happy to see mommy but also so proud of her accomplishment of pulling herself up to standing in her bed. I LOVE when little ones start standing in their cribs. I just think it is so stinkin adorable to go in and have them jump up and down and smile with excitement to see you.
I will chew my way out if I have too!

Little Gamer

Little Noah LOVES video games. I really mean he LOVES them. He is pretty darn good too. Oh how it kills him when I cut him off or he gets grounded from them. He's playing Daddy's DS here which is a special treat. Only kids who have been really good get to play the DS. This 4 year old trips me out with his gaming. He figures out how to play games pretty quick. I guess it is in his blood.

Just a Cute Baby

Eating her first biter biscuit (a while back).
I think it's safe to say she likes it.
I love this picture. She was just chillin outside in the stroller while Jenn hung Christmas lights on the house. That round face and those big eyes just kill me. We adore this baby.

Sleepy Jumper

04 February 2011

Jenn talked to my mom last night and learned that our cousin had crashed his mom's car into a pole. The following commentary took place.

Zoey - (Thinking about this cousin and him being old enough to drive) "He can drive?"

Noah - "No, because he hit a pole."

Oh my heavens I am still laughing today. Noah doesn't miss a beat. Even when you don't think he is listening he is and you never know what is going to come out of this child's mouth. He can be quite a booger sometimes but the kid keeps us laughing ALL the time.

Cookie Baking

I did my best to get the kids involved in all things during the holidays. This year they got to help me mix up cookie dough. It may seem lame that mixing dough is a special thing for them but if you know me you know that it is hard for me to not just do things on my own. I really struggle to just let go and have the patience to let them help. I love when I do though. It always ends up being a great time. We had a great time making cookies and eating them was even more fun.

Crawler

Olivia officially started crawling in November. Just in time for her to enjoy the tree and the ornaments. I must say though that she was pretty good about not messing with it too much. There was definitely interest but it never lasted too long. Thankfully the tree and all the ornaments survived the holiday this year.
She looks like she is blessing her food. She fell asleep though. Learning to eat is so very tiring.

Gingerbread Houses

Gingerbread houses have been a tradition in Jay's life for a long time and so this past year we decided to start that tradition in our home. So at the beginning of December we made and decorated graham cracker gingerbread houses. It was a first for me and the kids and we had a great time. Jay and I put all the houses together (which was a hysterical pain in the butt but a memory for us to share for forever) and then we all decorated our own. The kids LOVED it and Jay and I had a really fun time too. I hope it is a tradition we keep up with because we all had a great time and it sure was a fun way to spend time as a family.
Noah's house
Alison's house
Zoey's house
Jay's house
I must put the disclaimer about Jay's house. For some reason this roof WOULD NOT stick. So being Jay, he found a way to just make the caved in roof work for him. It looks like there must have been some sort of terrible accident or something. Anyway, I just love it. It's better than anything I would have done. I would have just thrown my hands up and had a house with half a roof. He may not admit it but Jay has a good, creative mind.

Love for Sister

Watching big sis play the DS. I love when all 3 of my kids are in the same place and happy. Noah and Olivia love to be around Zoey. Poor Zoey really enjoys some peace and alone time sometimes. She really is a good big sister though and often appeases her siblings and plays with them. If they can manage to play nice they all have such fun together.
Olivia would like a turn now please.
Homemade chow mein, in our new Chinese bowls, with our new chopsticks. The kids loved it and figured out how to eat it all only using chopsticks. Way to go big kids!

Olivia pulling herself up to standing. November, just about 7 months old. She likes to suck on the edge of the ottoman by the way.
