Pumpkin Carving

We had a great time tonight creating our jack-o-lanterns of the season. We love the tradition and all always have such a fun time doing it. It just makes things feel that much more Halloweenie. As always, I think all of the pumpkins turned out FABULOUS and creative. What a fun way to spend a Friday night!

Jumperoo

Awesome big brother put together the Jumperoo for Olivia. He was so excited to put it together and so proud when he was done. What a good brother!

Olivia's first time in the Jumperoo. She LOVED it! She spends longer periods of time in it now even and she sure can jump.

What does one do on their first birthday? Sophie spends some time sticking her tongue out at the camera.

Then some time just playing on the floor. Those feet remind anyone of someone elses? She may look all like her daddy but she definitely has her mom's feet.

Then some chewing on the pony we bought at Target.

Then some time climbing in and out of the Bumbo. (One of her favorite things to do)

Then a treat! Blue Oreos. Mmmm!

Then Aunt Ali takes her home along with the sugar cookies made just for her.

What a fun day we had on Sophie's actual birthday day. It was more than a month ago but we had a great time that day. We are glad we could spend it with her.

Ha Ha

I know I still have some growing up to do when I see this and it makes me laugh. I don't know why but every time I see it it makes me chuckle just a little. (Sorry Mom!)

Fun at the Park

One day during our monsoon it was actually bearable enough to play outside for a while. We spent a little while at the little park behind our house. It was warmer than I would care for but the kids had a great time.

Noah has really grown to love riding his bike.

Zoey turned the steering wheel all the way one direction and then sat back and held the pedal down. The truck just kept going in circles. Clever girl.

Our 3 amazing kiddos. They give us a run for our money but we can't imagine life without any of them. They really make life so much more amazing.

I took this like a month ago when Olivia was first finding her feet. She loves to grab her feet now and if they are free of jammies or socks you can find her sucking on her big toe. Too cute!

Zoey gave Olivia one of her school papers to look at. Olivia was very interested.

Bumbo Baby

Because of her love and need to sit up all the time I finally got a Bumbo a while back. I would never pay full price for one but I found it on clearance at Target for more than 50% off. She likes sitting in it for short periods of time. Soon though she won't need any help sitting up. We are practicing and she will be a pro soon.

Chillin in the kitchen with Mom while dinner is being made. I just love the dress she has on. Too bad it just got packed away because she outgrew it.

Daddy has always made such a comfy baby chair.

Happy 6th Zoey

Today our Zoey turned 6. I have been thinking all day about how I cannot believe how quickly these 6 years have passed. I remember well the day she was born and the thrill of it all. There is something so special and amazing about bringing your first child into the world. The anticipation and excitement was insane and we certainly weren't let down when she got here. She is our sweet Zoey and every day since she was born has been better because she is here. Zoey is an amazing little girl. She is so smart and doing so amazingly well in school. We are so proud of her desire and drive to learn. She is such a well behaved, good example to those around her and we are so grateful for that. Though she can be kind of rotten at home sometimes she really is a good big sister. She often plays well with her little brother and he really loves being around her and doing everything she does. She is also such a huge help with her baby sister. I can always count on her to give loves to or entertain Olivia when I really can't get to her at the moment. I guess what it all comes down to is that Zoey is amazing. She is a blessing to us and her entire family and we are so thankful she is a part of our lives. Zoey, I am glad you enjoyed your birthday day and all the fun that came with it. We love you so very much!

We partied up Zoey's room while she was at school.

This is what 75 balloons looks like in her room. Jay blew up every one of them. There were also a dozen helium filled ones floating around there too.

She was really surprised when she saw it. I believe the first thing she said was "That is too many balloons. I can't even walk in my room."

Our awesome, cute, fun, beautiful, smart 6 year old.

So excited about the money she got from Grandma and Grandpa in Utah. She can't wait to spend it.

I am pretty sure here she is talking to Noah about how delicious her birthday dinner is and what a great cook Mommy is. :)

Chowing down on baby back ribs, loaded mashed potatoes, and garlic bread. How awesome is my 6 year old and her request for ribs for her birthday dinner?!

After school I took Zoey to the store to pick out a treat to have after dinner. We bought this yummy cherry chocolate crunch cake and some ice cream. It was tasty.
