Grandma & Grandpa Kinney Visit

We were so excited to have G & G McKinlay here to visit for a few days during spring break. It was great for everyone but honestly I think I was the luckiest one because my kids were occupied during the break. The kids were so thrilled to have them around. Zoey made a list of things to do while they were here and if I recall correctly they marked all of them off but one. Grandma spent most of her time doing things with the big kids and Olivia. Grandpa spent most of his time holding and feeding Aiden. It was so nice to have them visit and we sure hope it won't be long before they can come back again.
They love riding in the truck. Olivia even got to go along this time.
 Much Wii was played.
Grandpa was a great baby sitter.
 Silly monkeys.
Grandma was constantly entertained by this little lady.
 The girls.
 The boys. (Silly Aiden)
I hate that this picture is blurry. It's the only one I ended up with that was a serious one. Grandma and Grandpa with their only grandchildren. I'd say four isn't too shabby considering Jay is an only child. Thinking about more kind of makes me tired. :)
 The silly one.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for making the quick, last minute decision to come visit. It was sure great having you here. We all miss and love you!

Sweet Sleeper

This is a rare occasion in the afternoon but when he does sleep he sure is precious.

Homemade Crowns

Zoey is always coming up with the most clever little ideas. I thought these crowns she made for everyone turned out really cute. Even Aiden had one but we couldn't get it to stay on his head because he moved too much.

Love This

Zoey made me this awesome sign. I had a blah day after having my wisdom teeth out. I told my family I was going to take a bath and that no one was allowed to come in while I was in there. When I got out I saw this sign on the door. Thanks Zoey for looking out for Mom!

Aiden is 2 Months Old

Our little man hit 2 months old on Saturday. He is doing wonderful and is healthy and growing fast. We all love him to pieces and are so happy he is a part of our family.
 A little about Aiden
10 lbs 6 oz
23 1/4 in
Starting to coo and smile
Follows things with his eyes as they go by
Holds head up pretty good
Sometimes rolls from tummy to back
Sleeps for 4-6 hours at a time at some point during the night
Eats 4-6 oz of formula every 2-3 hours
Is most calm when swaddled so tight he can't move
My most high maintenance baby so far
Loves to sleep snuggled in bed with Mommy and Daddy
Thinks he needs to be held all the time

St. Patrick's Day Breakfast

Aunt Jenn made this fun, yummy green breakfast. A broccoli and bacon quiche and some muffins. The kids also had green milk. Fun way to start off the day.

Sweet Little Mama

I got Aiden all set up with a bottle and then had to go to the bathroom. A few seconds later I could hear him crying and knew he lost the bottle. The crying quickly stopped and when I came back out to the living room this is what I found. His sweet sister helped him out and all was well. She may drive me nutty with him but she sure is a good little helper!

A Touch of Aiden

Grandpa voluntarily fed Aiden his bottle.
The little dude slept in the corner of the couch like this for a good couple hours.
Then he woke up for a bit, ate and snuggled his way into this position on the couch for another couple hours.
The earliest age to play peek-a-boo.
Always amuses me how big a bed hog a tiny person can be.
When you don't have a baby swing you make things work for you. He was so content laying on the dryer while it was on. (For any of those who may be worried, he was never left unattended and he was only there for a moment.)

Our Time With Alexis

Cousin Alexis came to visit for a week and it was so great to get to spend time with her. She spent one night and a whole day with just us and we had a great time. Her and Zoey got along really well even with their difference in age. Olivia warmed up to her pretty quickly too and they were pals. We are so glad she could come see us since it has been a few years since we saw her at all. Thanks for spending time with us Alexis. We love you!

The most delicious popcorn ever and a movie.
There was quite a bit of snow on Mt Lemmon still. It was my kids first time ever touching snow. They were pretty excited.
Olivia and her pal Alexis. This visit was the first time they met.
I am pretty sure Aiden was wondering what the heck all those big tall green things were and why in the world his face felt so cold.
Working on building a snow creature.
They decided it was a snow monkey.
 Alexis and Noah
Noah loved climbing. He got too close to the edge too many times for Mommy's sanity though.
I love this picture with Jenn's funny face and Noah in the background. Too funny!
I can't believe I used to take care of this girl when she was a baby. I can't believe how fast the years have passed.

This is how Aiden does a picnic in the mountains.
